Announced during Computex in the beginning of June, the Ion-based All-In-One PC from Asus is about to hit the shelves in France. Displaying a sale price of 598 Euros, the much-waited AIO is available for ordering on the website of French retailer LDLC . Although considered a little bit expensive at this price, the “toy” is very attractive by his look and features.
What you get:
- Intel Atom N330 Dual-Core processor
- Nvidia Ion chipset
- 20″ touch-screen with 1600×900 resolution
- 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM
- 250 Gb 5400rpm HDD
- DVD-SuperMulti
- 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN
- Webcam 1.3 MPixels + Microphone
- Gigabit LAN
- 6xUSB2.0
- HDMI port
- Wireless keyboard + mouse
The only questionable point in ET2002T configuration is the 1600×900 resolution display, which the Atom-ION duo will somehow “struggle” to provide.
As final words, Asus seems to be the best choice for the normal Office and Internet user. As the list of similar devices showed at Computex was quite large, it remains to be seen how the competition will react.
